Pirates of the Caribbean Skull Strobe & Ice Age Sid Roller Racer Cereal Toy Lot Description Up for sale is a pair of toys that were included as prizes in a couple of Kellogg’s branded cereal boxes (sorry I can’t remember the exact cereal that each toy pertained to exactly, but I’m sure there must be some information out there on the subject) back in the day. Included in this lot is a Skull Strobe from the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise which bears a dual copyright year of 2005 for Kellogg’s and 2006 for Disney on the cellophane packaging, and furthermore, it’s made in China. The packaging seems to include a yellowish looking skull with what appears to be some sort of plastic chain ring; which I figure is used to turn the toy on by pulling on it or something. I’m not sure if this pull chain is broken, as I do seem to see what appears to be a break in the loop. For all I know this might have been damaged in storage or maybe it’s meant to be like that, for hooking up to the chain ring on top of the skull and whatnot… I have no idea really. The other toy in this lot is Sid the Sloth from the Ice Age franchise. I had to find some similar listings to help me out with the copyright information, for it’s pretty difficult to look through the cellophane packaging and get a clear image of that imprint at the bottom of the toy. Anyways, this toy which is supposed to be a Roller Racer which bears a copyright year of 2005 as well, which is attributed to Fox (films) and it was also made in China for Kellogg’s. Also, I’m not exactly sure if a Roller Racer is the same thing as a Pull ‘N Go, so your guess is as good as mine here, folks. Both of these toys are still in their original plastic packaging (which looks like cellophane). I can’t say for sure what condition they’re in since they’ve been in storage for quite some time and there’s also that aforementioned issue (which may or may not be an issue) with the loop on the Skull Strobe pull… which may be a break or may be intentional since it almost looks like one piece would readily snap into the other. Anyways, for all intents and purposes both of these items are in like new condition and have never once been taken out of their original packaging. It’s pretty amazing that these toys have survived this long in their original state and whatnot. Furthermore, the packaging might exhibit some wear on it from storage; mostly appearing in the form of dust and debris (and maybe even little pieces of the original cereal flakes that pertained to these toys) that might have gotten stuck to it over the years… though I did do my best to clean it up thoroughly for the purpose of this sale. Anyways, I’m pricing this lot to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade.
