Offered for sale is a vintage Gruen Curvex wrist watch, probably ca. 1940s or 1950s. This watch features a 14K solid yellow gold Deco style curved rectangular case, a 17-jewel calibre 440 manual-wind movement, and a white matte dial with a subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position. The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear. The movement is in excellent running order. The dial appears to be an older refinish of average quality, and shows a patina appropriate for its age. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Size: 22mm wide x 41mm lug-to-lug.
