I was recently contacted by an ebay user who provided me with some information on this vest. They sent me a photo from a Twitter post from 2022. These were released for a limited run and made to order. I have only seen 1 tan color version offered for sale in 2023. It does not appear to be used at all. I am including the original story that I had on this listing before I found out of this offering for full transparency. I am open to all questions. Thanks for viewing my listing. Admittedly, when I purchased this item, I was only familiar with the band name. I was under the impression that this custom vest was religious themed. I came across this item at a location that receives items from the frost bank center (formerly AT&T center) in San Antonio, Texas. I have found a number of items from visiting basketball teams and our hometown basketball team. When I ran an image search on the embroidered logo on the front, Frank Iero’s name is all I saw. Not being familiar with the name, my search continued and discovered he was in my chemical romance. I started searching for a frank iero carhartt vest. I could not find anything but merch. I then looked for frank iero *keep the faith* and discovered that he has it tattooed. Still I was not able to find the vest with this saying. When It started clicking in my head that I bought the item at the store that the venue sends items to, I googled frank iero San Antonio, and the first image that popped up for me was him on stage with a vest. I quickly clicked on it and co firmed the same embroidery on the front. I confirmed that the picture was from their San Antonio show. I then scoured around looking for pictures of the back of the vest. I came across the hastag #mcrsanantonio and after signing into my X account, I was able to scroll through tweets from 2022 of photos and videos from mcr’s reunion tour. I finally found a tweet that read “as a huge frank girl this is the only frank media I took #mcrsanantonio. It was a video of him walking the stage as a band mate wishes someone a happy birthday. He turns his back to the crowd for a moment and I see the screen printed “keep the faith” on his back. This is when I felt confident that what I found was there that night. While I’d like to confidently say it is the same vest. There is evidence that it is not the one worn. The space between the letter p and the arm opening seems larger on frank than the one that I have. While I analyzed the space and even took measurements of the letter. The space seemed noticeably larger on the vest that he was wearing. Maybe wardrobe had more than one made he wore the one that fit him best. Maybe it is the vest that he wore and I’m being over analytical. But I am confident that this vest was made for him to choose the fit he wanted. I even went as far as to Google his height which is 5′ 6″. I had my son try it on he is 12 and a similar height and girth. It was a tight fit. So maybe this was just not the size he needed and wardrobe left it behind. It looks to be in new condition. If you have any questions please let me know. I am very responsive to all inquiries.
