The newest generation is much larger in size and thickness, more features and is much more complicated to change settings. From a physical standpoint it’s a nice watch with a large face dial and LED features. I would give this watch five stars if it were not for the complicated and somewhat confusing instructions that you must download from Citizen’s website. There is a video as well that goes over the basics but bases it on a preset condition the watch comes in, settings for LAX and NYC. Whatever you do, don’t start touching buttons, before reading instructions and video! I assumed very little changed in the setting mechanics between the original version and this one and that was wrong!
